•Business development (MOU with the international companies for the supply chain in Pharmaceutical sectors (Generic drugs, Medical devices and surgical instruments) : We submitted the quotations for generic drugs for the department of health. •We have an official agreement for the supplies of API from different manufactures to pharmaceutical companies SADC Countries. •Project Management National and International business: My major role is to get the international quotations within time from different suppliers from India and globally and submit them to our partners in SADC Countries. •Clinical trials projects handled for 3rd parties: we already had an official discussion with our partner in South Africa and international clintest for a post-marketing surveillance study of Anti-venom product(s) in South Africa, presumably based on a prospective phase IV study design for approximately 50 participants our major role was : (1) Review of Regulatory documents and submission (protocol and informed consent, etc.); (2) site identification and qualification (2-3 sites); and (3) Study management and clinical monitoring. Data management and Pharmacovigilance services can be facilitated on an outsource basis to small pharmaceuticals. Also involved in a major role with different clinical trials partners. • Feasibility / site identification • Conduct site pre-qualification visit / assessment. • Review and adjust informed consent form to SA requirements. • Regulatory Notification • Ethics submission and approval • Initiate the study at the approved sites. • Manage local vendors (if required), i.e., laboratories, courier, etc. • Conduct site monitoring visits (verify data collection; ensure data integrity, patient confidentiality, and protection of right, etc.) • Interim regulatory and ethics communication (submit progress reports, obtain annual re-approval), • Perform close-out visits. • Implement and manage the trial master file (client to confirm if they have electronic TMF or paper TMF is sufficient) • Scientific implementations in different projects: for Process development for CRO implementations for cost effective final product development using affordable synthesis roots.

At present Research and innovation Department is busy for submission of the two patents entitle of • Formulation of Curcumine as an immune buster • Formulation of Copper Aspernate as an antifungal ointments • These two patents will be submitted before the end of 2021. We are also busy with discussion of the innovations with the investors/ Pharma Company for the future product development through joint venture. • We are busy working in collaboration with product development form Heparin formulations ad Nasal spray and facial cream for SARS-CoV-2 with our collaborators at Mayo Clinic Infectious Diseases 4500 San Pablo Road Jacksonville, FL 32224, USA.

I was director and head for Unit for Drug Discovery and Development (UDDR),  in our research group  6 Honors, 11 Master and 3 PhD students in the field of drug discovery and development, My students was fully funded by National Research Foundation (NRF)  and instutios funding for titution fess, Our research group was mainly focused  on novel drug development for Anti-Cancer, TB and Malaria of Novel drug development for resistance anti-malaria, These exciting results from our work are currently in the final stages of two patent applications, which are due for submission by the end of 2021.
