High calibre business manager with 25+ years of rich hands on experience in diverse sectors in the Food and Agribusiness value chain – Precision Agriculture, Retail, Fresh produce buying & merchandising, Agri Input marketing, Farm machinery etc. Passionate leader of strategic growth initiatives for leading global companies from Trimble Inc ( NASDAQ listed Global leader in precision Agriculture) to DuPont Inc ( Global chemical group), Indian companies like Aditya Birla ( More retail outlets), Escorts (Tractor manufacturer) and Rallis (leading Agrochemical company). Played entrepreneurial role for 5 years with SanDiego, USA based Biofuels start-up, M/s SGB Inc. in setting up the base of company in Asia region. I was part of core leadership team in raising series-A funding of $9.4 million (Investors: - Flint Hill Resources, Life Technologies). Subsequently raised another $17 million in series -B funding led by health care venture firm Thomas, McNerney & Partners and Finistree ventures. Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt, DuPont (USA). Worked with President-DuPont, South Asia in building strategy and execution plan for DuPont crop protection business and Seed business (Pioneer Hybrid) Currently working as Regional Head (Precision Agriculture-South Asia) for Trimble Inc. (NASDAQ:-TRMB) leading a long-term strategic growth and execution plan to build company's Precision Agriculture business in South Asia region.
